He held that salvation lies in this age as that is the correct wording (not of this world- not in an after life but here and now)according to Ely. It was Ely's conviction that the age of salvation could only be reached through applications of the welfare state... ~ Jonah Goldberg 2013. This effectively has everything to do with progressive labeling. How? They can see that sin is everywhere and that they are sinners as well. How then can an age of salvation be reached?
